About Us
We are originally from South Africa, Durban, to be exact. We moved to the UK in 2019 in pursuit of opportunities. The process was challenging and complex to navigate, especially as finances proved to be a major challenge for us.
Even advice it would seem, was expensive. But you know what they say, experience is the best teacher. So Bodley & Jones was born with the ethos of being a transparent and affordable solution-focused organisation that helps people navigate complex systems, namely sourcing documents that individuals need to apply for long-term visas or additional nationalities, like ancestral birth certificates and other hard-to-source documents. When looking at the eligibility criterion for visas or citizenship of other countries, the law is extensive and there are a lot of hoops to jump through. South Africa has many colonial ties, and our citizens have a colourful and sometimes sad ancestral history.
Many South Africans have questioned why we do what we do, and it’s simple – if people get the opportunity to explore a possible financial head start in life or want to explore the world with a passport that makes it easier to travel, why would they not?
